He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Wright State University, though he attributes his foundational work ethic to his upbringing in a rural Ohio farming community. This background instilled in him the core virtues of hard work, family, and a grounded sense of humility that guides his leadership style today.

 

Dave began his career as a software developer at Crown Equipment, where he developed a deep expertise in software technology and a comprehensive understanding of dealer networks. The enduring relationships he forged with independent dealers during this time remain a cornerstone of his professional network.

 

In 2014, Dave established Tinnacity as a consultancy dedicated to helping independent service dealerships streamline their operations. Under his vision, the company transitioned into a SaaS provider in 2017, delivering cutting-edge mobile solutions to the material handling and industrial equipment sectors. Now a decade into the journey, Dave remains committed to driving unwavering progress through the success of Tinnacity’s customers.

Brett is a Partner and the Chief Technology Officer at Tinnacity. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Computer & Information Science, he possesses extensive experience developing specialized software solutions for the material handling and service sectors.​

 

In his role, Brett leverages his passion for rapid development and innovative problem-solving to drive Tinnacity’s technological evolution. His professional philosophy is rooted in a continuous cycle of learning and iteration, ensuring that the company’s products consistently meet the shifting needs of its clients.​

 

Originally a global traveler who has lived and worked across the world, including a tenure in New Zealand, Brett now resides near Jacksonville, Florida. He is an enthusiast of outdoor family activities and an aficionado of international spirits, having toured over 50 bourbon and whiskey distilleries globally with his wife.
